Well hello there! The last week has been interesting, to say the least. I haven't posted anything on here for a while because I've been struggling with what to write. And also because I was in Yosemite with my family and no cell service or WiFi. Minor detail. I got back last night and can hardly keep my eyes open this morning, but it's a busy week so I'll be drinkin all of the matcha!

Over the weekend I watched The True Cost movie after many of you recommended it. The recommendations came after a post I did with Walmart last week that dredged up a lot of thoughts and feelings on fast fashion.
When we threw together Amalia's playroom in (literally) a week last year, we had no idea how much use it would end up getting. We spend a ton of time in here, but never really made it fun and playful for a kid vibe. We pretty much just pulled out our dining room table, swapped in a play mat, and called it a day.
We have gone through many an up and down in my house this month, phew! It's been a doozy but despite the illnesses, the scares, and the breakouts, we've had a lot of laughs. Amalia is at this really fun age where she makes jokes and laughs hysterically at herself or dance around in her diaper giggling.
