This is our third spring in a row heading to Sarasota for a little vacation. The first time I was newly pregnant, last year, Amalia was only 8 months old, and this time she's a full-on walking and talking toddler. I have to say, I'm the most excited for this year's trip because she really appreciates the beach and swimming in the pool now.
Last month I promised a vegetarian recipe next, and here it is! Many of the recent recipes I've shared have been chicken-based (chicken tortilla soup, buffalo chicken bowls, and honey teriyaki chicken) which is funny because I actually prefer to eat vegetarian when I can. If I didn't live with a man who needed meat to sustain him, I would probably only make it once a week.
This is my final outfit post from Palm Beach, I promise! This dress so perfectly on brand for the location, that I threw it on after an hour at the pool to take some photos. Hence my beachy hair and no makeup situation. I've literally never seen more banana leaf print in one place... Except perhaps for my guest room that will finally be revealed on Thursday.
Before we get into this month's book club discussion, I have some house cleaning notes. Probably no one even noticed or cares, but this but up until this post, I was titling my book club posts based on the upcoming book rather than the book the post was discussing. I realized as I was putting this one together that that format didn't make much sense so I switched it up.
