I've spent years trying to figure out how to combat the dark circles that live under my eyes. As someone who doesn't sleep well, they're pretty much a constant in my life. In fact, I used to never take photos without sunglasses because I was so self-conscious about my undereye bags. The fact that I'm sharing a selfie that I took last night with no sunglasses is not something I ever thought I would do.
Sweater / Jeans / Headband / Shoes
Last month's wellness challenge was a tough one for me. The challenge was to break a bad habit, and my habit was biting my hangnails, something I hate that I've never been able to beat. I found that setting the intention to really focus on it for a month helped a lot.
I don't think that any new parent can possibly anticipate all of the gear that comes along with having a child. You think you know... But then double that. I expected a lot of the baby things and registered for many of them but I apparently didn't think hard about the fact that with every age and stage, there is a whole new slew of products that make life easier.
I love grocery shopping, and I always have. There is something about walking down the organized aisles of food that feels almost meditative for me. But if I go in without a plan of action, I get stressed out and/or end up buying way more than I need. If I go in hungry? Forget it.
As adults, we're all forced to be regular grocery shoppers (unless you are an order-in-aholic), and this is my professional strategy for keeping things in order during my favorite weekly errand.
