A Mother’s Love

People say that you can't describe the kind of love you have for your child until you actually have it... and while I would agree for the most part, I'm going to try anyway.

You know that feeling in a new relationship when you're just starting to fall in love and you're completely infatuated? That feeling where you can't stop thinking about the other person and you miss them the second they leave the room.

Summer Bucket List

Happy summer, friends! Although the real start of the season isn't for a few more weeks, I'm counting it as now because Memorial Day to Labor day, obviously. Bring on the rosé and s'mores. Bring on beach days and and sandy baby toes. Bring on the hot dogs and grilled pizza. Bring it all.

I spent the first half of last summer super pregnant, and the second half with a newborn, so it was basically a wash and I was so sleep deprived I don't even remember most of it.So this year I need to make up for lost time and have some fun!

Tips to Simplify Your Life

One of the things I’ve learned on my anxiety journey is that when I feel overwhelmed, and there is a lot going on in different areas of my life, my anxiety heightens.

When there is less clutter (at home), a more organized system (at work), and my meals are planned out for the week, life is easier and my anxiety drops a significant amount.

Ten Months with Amalia

This is the first monthly update post where I'm writing it and feeling really emotional about her age. 10 months feels way too close to a year old, and it couldn't possibly be a full year since I had her... Right?!?

"The days are long but the years are short" has never rung more true for me.
