Bedroom Refresh

When we first moved into our house, life was a mess. We bought it really quickly because I was pregnant, and didn't have much money leftover to decorate. We did quick and dirty turnarounds on each room but it never really felt all that "finished" or elevated.It never felt like home.

So 2018 has officially become our year to fix some of the little (and bigger) things that bug us.

Anchor Shorts

Today is the day! I'm heading off to surgery this afternoon to clear out my sinuses and get my polyps removed. I'm beyond excited to be able to breathe well and feel better in about a week or so. In the meantime, it's going to be a rough couple of days recovering but I know that it will be worth it.

Creating Coping Skills for Anxiety

And I'm back with another lesson I've learned from therapy about anxiety. In a few short months I've come a very long way, and although these posts are no substitute for the real thing, I hope that they're helpful!

Two weeks ago, I wrote about how I'm finding my anxiety triggers by taking note of what is going on when I feel anxious, and adding it to my list of triggers that lives on my phone.
