About a month ago, Anel and I realized that Amalia needed more room for her toys and to move around. As she became more mobile and active, her tiny play mat wasn't cutting it anymore. Our dining room (across from the more formal living room in our house) was seldom used, despite my grand visions of constant dinner parties in the 'burbs, so we decided to turn it into her play room.

Well I've said it before and I'll say it again but this is my favorite month ever... so far! Seven to nine months has always been my favorite baby age, and it's exciting to see my own daughter in this fun and happy stage of life.
Before I get into today's post I just want to share a disclaimer that over the weekend we had a major issue with the commenting platform here so for now my amazing developer team put up a new system so that we can continue our conversations. I get asked more about my high chair than anything else on Instagram these days. Oh how times have changed! It used to be all nail polish colors and outfit advice.
