Since getting engaged, I've become minorly (read: majorly) obsessed with buying monogrammed items with my new initials. Like the necklace in this post, and the purse in this one. Last week I caught myself walking to the subway with a monogrammed necklace, purse, and (wait for it) umbrella!
I love the simplicity of the silhouette of this navy dress but the intricacy of the lace. It pairs well with a few bright yellow gold accessories for a look that can be worn in the summer, fall, or even winter with tights and boots!
When Anel and I went to Puerto Rico in April, we discovered guava pancakes at a decadent buffet brunch. Four months later, we're still talking about them, so I thought I'd share this little Carribbean secret recipe with you. It's basically homemade pancake mix and guava puree but baked in muffin tins. Genius, right? You could substitute the guava with bananas, blueberries, any sort of preserves, or even chocolate.
Remember this look from last winter? I made it into a summer look by swapping the pink pants for shorts and adding some extra bling. I love how over the top the colors and sparkle are but how the silhouettes are so casual.
