One day at work last week, we were told to dress a little more professionally because of a big meeting in the office. I usually dress pretty casually for my work days (think maxi dresses and cotton skirts) so although this look isn't super corporate for most jobs, it certainly was for mine!

What to Wear: 4th of July

Every year on the 4th of July, my aunt throws a big party at her house on the lake. We eat a lot of food, ride on Jetskis, go waterskiing, and catch up with our cousins. Here is what I'm thinking for my outfit tomorrow. How are you rocking your stars and stripes this year?

Beach Weekend

I'm off to Amagansett for the weekend with some girl friends. I can't wait to take some time off to relax on the beach, eat delicious local food, take a yoga class on a vineyard (!), and hit the town. I'll be back Monday with lots of photos!

Outside Spaces

When I went back to New Hampshire a few weeks ago, I was perusing basil at the farmer's market when someone working there asked where I lived. When I told him New York City, he said "So you probably don't even have a back yard, right?". I laughed and explained that I don't even have a balcony and that my fire escape is my closest thing to a garden.

Let’s Go Get a Wave

I've only recently really discovered how important it really is to take care of my skin in the sun. Although I love a solid summer glow, I now know that I really have to watch it, especially with my face. I'm definitely trying to avoid both wrinkles and skin cancer completely! That being said, I still love a good beach day, so I take precautions like wearing a hat and sunglasses while still sunning my body (covered in SPF 30 of course).
