Coordinated Wrapping

{Plaid tartan paper with lime green cloth ribbon}

As mentioned in Monday's post, I have over 30 presents under my apparently-not-big-enough Christmas tree. Every year, I like to give my gifts a different look. One Christmas, I wrapped everything in black and white damask paper with hot pink ribbon. Last year I went for the natural look, using craft paper and colorful ribbons from lime green to bright orange.

Homemade Peppermint Bark

During our 2 days of insanity (aka Christmas shopping), Anel and I kept sneaking back to Williams Sonoma with the sole intention of sampling their famous peppermint bark. It's sweet, pepperminty, and oh so satisfying. I thought I'd try a batch of my own so that the store employees would stop giving us weird looks. It was easy to make and tastes like Christmas in a bite!

My Weekend in Photographs

{Red lips and nails with this shirt and my mom's pearls for a holiday party}

This weekend was full (and I mean full) of everything Christmas: Shopping, wrapping, and, cooking. I bought gifts for everyone in my family, wrapped over 30 presents in two days, and made up a few batches of peppermint bark. I had my nails painted red (Essie's Lollipop), swiped my lips with red lipstick (Mac's Russian Red), and threw on some pearls and a black satin bow headband for a night out.

Lemon Christmas

{via}

This lemony Christmas tree is just too good to be true. Also loving the green and white patterned arm chairs. The yellow, green, and ivory color scheme is a fun twist on the traditional holiday hues. Happy Saturday!

J.Crew Wedding

It feels so surreal, but I bought my wedding dress last night! I think it comes at no surprise that I bought it at J.Crew (my fiancé already knows, don't worry!). The photos shown here give nothing away about my perfect dress with the perfect accessories, but I wanted to show how glamorous and elegant the J.Crew wedding experience is.
