I spent the last two days in BlogShop, a Photoshop class for bloggers, hosted by Bri and Angela, bloggers and Photoshop superstars! I learned a lot and will share more of my crazy photoshop skills very soon. For today, I'll just let you watch this video that I made in class...Now you know my biggest secret: I'm a phenomenal dancer!
My fiancé loves DIY projects. I wanted to add a pop of red to a bare corner of our apartment (seen below), so he agreed to redo a plain white ikea dresser into a cherry red side table. The same day that we added the dresser, we also put in a new bed, so it was quite the mess in here for a while.
This weekend I had a couple of friends over for a little holiday brunch. I wanted to show off my Christmas tree and get together one last time before the busiest weeks of my year leading up to Christmas. I knew that I had to make something special for my lovely ladies so I found this recipe for cinnamon eggnog scones.
I commenced this weekend on Friday night by wedding dress shopping at Pronovias. I can't share any details about that but I will say that I felt (and hopefully looked) like a princess! On Saturday, I hosted a small Christmas brunch for some old friends. I baked them cinnamon eggnog scones, mulled some hot cider, and sat around my sweet little Christmas tree.
My Pinterest is currently blowing up with all kinds of holiday images (from candy cane marshmellows to DIY window signs) that have gotten me through the recent warmish humid rainy December days. Now that it's all cold and wintery, and it's starting to feel a lot like Christmas, this HolidayLove pin board is starting to make more sense!
