I recently bought a gluten-free scone mix and was so excited to be able to eat one of my favorite pastries again. The mix I love is from King Arthur Flour which is located in Vermont, near my dad's house in New Hampshire. Since I can't always get up there to buy more, I thought I'd try creating my own gluten free scones without a mix.
What a weekend, you guys! It was beyond perfect and I never wanted it to end. My sister was in town, and she brought amazing weather and her cute puppy with her. The dogs love each other, so Boots was ecstatic to spend two days with his "cousin". He's finally fully healed so he could really run around and play.
Happy Friday! It's going to be a beautiful weekend in New England, and everyone is finally coming out of hibernation. There is an excitement in the air about the warmer days, and every year I forget how amazing that excitement feels. As I wind down my second trimester and prepare for my third which starts in 2.5 weeks (crazy!), I'm getting more and more excited about our future too.
Easter is such a hard holiday to dress for. It's technically springtime, but always ends up being freezing on the day of. Fingers crossed that this year is the exception. For the last few years, I've actually worn pants, but I'm so ready for dress weather, that I thought this cute dress would be more fun.
