Hang Out in Style!

When I get home after work, the first thing that I do is immediately slip into my super soft and cozy hang out clothes. I'm a big proponent of being comfortable at all times, but I also like to look good simultaneously. That being said, I have created an entire section in my dresser devoted to yoga pants, loose cotton t-shirts, fleece socks (yep), and sweaters stolen from my boyfriend.

Peanut-Buttery Coconut Squares

This recipe is derived from it's original version in the book Hungry for Health (Susan Silberstein).

Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups raw almonds
- 1.5 cups raw cashews
- 1.5 cups raw shredded unsweetened coconut
- 3/4 cup agave (or honey)
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (or almond butter or tahini)
- 1 tblspn vanilla extract
- 1 tblspn flax seeds
- 3/4 tspn sea salt

Directions:
In a food processor (or blender), chop nuts until fine.

For Young Women who Live in their Shoes

I recently received a request from a reader (and mother of three little ones!) for some comfortable shoe suggestions. I'll post one list now for the colder months ahead, and then again when summer comes around again. If you have any other high heel ideas, let me know. I don't really believe in wearing heels but am open to the idea only if they're super comfortable.
