Amalia, my 6-year-old, has been begging me for wallpaper in her room since we moved into our house... 4 and a half years ago. I kept thinking she would change her mind or get sick of it so I dragged my feet, but the girl is persistent if nothing else and finally wore me down.
And I'm so happy that she did because the paper and trim paint couldn't be more "her" or more beautiful.
Hello! I hope you're all having a Good Friday ;) We are prepping for a fun Easter weekend with family and friends and praying the weather is warm enough for us to wear the outfits we naively chose last month as we do every year.
I finished Heaven and Earth Grocery Store last night, and while it was, at some points, a bit of a slow read, it was an important one and I ended up really liking it in the end.
I am just itching to put my sweaters and fleeces back into storage and pull out the ole' dress bin. It's time! I'm ready! Where is the weather I need? It's a very big weekend in our house because Luca is officially transitioning to a big boy bed. The bed frame is arriving today and the mattress (and bumpers) tomorrow so wish us all luck because we're going to need it! When Amalia made this same transition I was so excited for the next step and what was to come.
