Happy weekend, friends! Today marks my first full week of working from home (without any travel) and it went surprisingly well. I was nervous about being alone but I scheduled enough in-person lunches and meetings that it was all good. I'm excited to actually be in town this weekend too.
This week marks the annual "Spend more, save more" Shopbop sale which is going on through Saturday, March 5th. I love this sale so much because it's a great time to finally stock up on those high price point items that you've been lusting over for months or build up your spring and summer wardrobe as warmer temps are just around the corner!
Like everyone else in America, I recently read Marie Kondo's The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, and I've been implementing her strategies for de-cluttering and simplifying our space over the past few weeks. I have become utterly obsessed with her idea of only keeping items in your home that "spark joy". One of the lessons I learned in this process was that I had over a dozen sets of sheets but only two of them sparked joy.
Two years ago, my friend Bailey brought me on a trip to Cancun on hotel points, so when the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island invited me and a friend for a visit to the lovely little island off of Florida, I returned the favor and brought her with me for a gloriously luxurious and relaxing long weekend.
