Life Lessons Learned From My Puppy

First of all, can we take a second to recognize how much Boots has grown in the last three weeks? It feels like just yesterday that he was teeny tiny. Having this pup has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. It for sure has been a lot of work, but his unconditional love and excessive cuddles make the 18 degree walks and early morning pee breaks worth it.

Weekend Reading

The last few days have been bittersweet. It marked my last week as the Marketing Director at Nourish Snacks, a job that has both fulfilled me and driven me crazy over the last two years. My coworkers marked the end of my time there with fun treats all week: Green juices on Monday, a beautiful bouquet of flowers on Tuesday, matcha teas on Wednesday, and gluten free brioche and a team happy hour at Bartaco on Thursday.

So I chopped off all my hair...again. But even more this time. And it felt so liberating! I'm in such a weird transition period and I felt like I needed a new lighter, blonder, shorter look for my new adventure. I have tried three times now to get my hair cut and colored in various salons around Stamford and Greenwich but no one gets it and my hair always comes out with an orange tinge.

Weekly Roses

Navy and white cachepot

Like every diligent blogger, I buy fresh flowers every week. In all seriousness though, I have been a flower addict from the moment I graduated from college and made my first paycheck. Growing up, my mom always had fresh flowers in the house and I guess the habit stuck. Once in a while I'll change it up, but for the most part, I stick to white or pink roses.
