Caponata is a bold-flavored classic Sicilian appetizer that we ate day in and day out on my 30th birthday trip to Sicily. It’s equal parts sweet, tangy, salty, and sour, and it tickles your taste buds in a new and interesting way. The flavors meld together over time, so I recommend making this a day before you plan to serve it if you have the time.

Paleo Peanut Butter Cookies

I haven't baked since I moved to the suburbs 6 months ago. I would have thought that moving out here would make me bake more, but apparently not! Last weekend, we were craving something sweet but are trying to stick to a Paleo diet as much as possible so I searched online for the perfect paleo cookie recipe.

Tulum Travel Guide

I had a strange experience in Tulum. Everyone and their mother had been raving about it for the last 2 years so I finally booked our spring trip to the notoriously eco-friendly Mexican vacation spot this year. It was definitely an experience but not my ideal tropical vacation.

I'm having a hard time putting into words what my problem was but I think it was just a bit too bohemian and trendy for my taste.
