In May, I had the incredible pleasure of visiting Aerin Lauder's gorgeous home and boutique in Southampton. A select number of bloggers were driven out to the Hamptons for a tour of the store followed but a surreal luncheon by the pool at Aerin's home, originally owned by Estee Lauder herself.

It's chilly and sunny today in New York and I've chosen to spend my morning sitting inside and catching up on Homeland instead of going out to brunch or running along the river.
I don't usually get deep or talk about issues that mean a lot to me here on the blog. I try to keep it fun and light to create an escape for readers and to make you all smile. Once in a while, when I feel strongly about something, I go for it (remember The Nose Diaries?).
