Moroccan Butternut Squash Soup

Now that it's cold again, I'm craving all of the soups. Like all of the time. I buy a lot of pre-made ones at Whole Foods for quick and easy dinners, but there's nothing quite like a homemade batch of fragrant soup cooking in my kitchen on a cozy Sunday at home. Like any living breathing human, I love butternut squash soup, but am sick of making it the same way every time.

The Best Thermal

In my early 20s when I was living in New York, I used to go out with my friends... a lot. Hard to believe now, I know! One night we went out and I kissed a boy wearing a thermal shirt. From there on out, my friends referred to him as "waffle shirt" and made fun of me to no end.

My New Morning Routine

I feel like every blogger I follow is constantly writing about their morning routine. I have too, in the past. And while I sometimes wish my mornings were still filled with sun salutations, oil pulling, and 10 minutes of meditation, they're not. But in a way, they're better because I appreciate the quiet and fill it with things that both make me feel centered and are productive.

The Coziest Sweater for Fall

Happy Monday! I had a pretty laid back weekend, but it was much needed after our trip. I went to a Amanda's baby shower and then we had some friends over on Saturday for early apps which is our new favorite activity with them. They had a baby a month after we did, so dinnertime is tough for all of us.
