In March, my family and I are heading to two Indonesian islands, Nikoi and Bintan, to celebrate my dad's birthday. It's been a rough winter in New York with lots of cold windy days. I can't wait to sit on a beach in a bathing suit and sandals with no boots, hats, or gloves. Here are a few things on my wish list for the trip.
This weekend my amazing photographer Rebecca came the the Upper East side to take some photos with me. It was so cold out (15 degrees at the time) that we were forced to take these shots inside.
I have two weekend uniforms. One is for staying in and doing things around the house and the other is for running errands, going to brunch, and jaunting around the city. This is the latter of the two which consists of jeans, comfy flats, a blazer, and my gigantic monogrammed tote.
Last Sunday night, I was craving a Caesar salad like no other. Unfortunately, I can't eat dairy so the Parmesan-coated salad that I so craved was out of the question. Instead, I made my own version with kale subbing in for the classic romaine, and the dressing that tasted like a creamy caesar variety that you might get at an Italian restaurant.
