Falling in Love with Fall

Is it really almost that time of year again? A time when the sun starts to sink in the Hudson River earlier and earlier each day. A time when we all avert our eyes from the shop windows featuring chunky sweaters, wool pants, and colors like burnt orange and forest green. This summer is flying by and I refuse to let the upcoming cold weather ruin the last few weeks of hot yellow sunshine and weekends at the beach.

Corn Soup

I love soup no matter what time of year it is, especially since I got a Vitamix which makes soup-blending a breeze. You can find my go-to soup recipes here and here . However, it's hard to find a hot soup that vibes with the summer months, so when I found this recipe for corn soup, I had to try it right away.

Summer Chic

Last week, the entire marketing team at Integrative Nutrition went bowling at Bowlmor in Union Square. Usually, the women in our office sport cute outfits made up of dresses and skirts, but because of our evening activity, everyone opted for shorts or pants.

My Weekend in Photographs

I am very happy to say that this weekend was our last in New York City for the next 5 weeks. As much as I love it here, the summers on this small, crowded island tend to be humid, hot, and slightly smelly. Although I was dreaming of a cool breeze and the sound of ocean waves, I thoroughly enjoyed a run in central park, a picnic in the sunshine, a birthday dinner with friends, and lots of baking!
