When I started building my registry, I had literally no idea where to start. I googled a couple of lists but felt completely overwhelmed. Was a diaper genie really necessary (yes) and what the heck is a Rock 'n Play anyway?
We've all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I find that for most people I talked to, it's also the most rushed. It can be hard to find time in the mornings, but fueling up for the day is important, so I like to use that short amount of time wisely.
I don’t know if you guys have had similar experiences or not, but once I turned 25, I was served ad after ad featuring anti-aging products. Everyone started telling me to take care of my skin in new ways… and to never forget about my neck! One dermatologist even suggested Botox when I was only 27!
I never really understood the importance of a babymoon until I had my own this weekend. Anel and I have been so stressed out with working hard to get our ducks in a row before the baby arrives, that we haven't really relaxed or just enjoyed each other's company in months. Months! Yes, we've had the occasional date night, but often after long days I'm too tired to go out anywhere so we order in.
This week was all about nesting. I decided that I had to clean every single window in my house, inside and out and we finally organized our garage. It felt amazing! I also got a ton of work done and was extra productive for the first time in weeks. The sun kinddddd of came out finally, and this weekend is supposed to be beautiful.
