Life Lately: Volume 63

We are finally back from all of our travels and feeling like we're getting into a good groove with back-to-school and starting all of our after-school activities. Amalia has been doing such an amazing job getting acclimated to her new school, new friends, taking the bus, and a whole new routine. We started soccer this week and seeing her in a jersey that fits more like a dress was too cute.

J.Crew Fall Drop

J.Crew just dropped their fall collection and I am so happy to say that they are back in a big way. Since Olympia Gayot has taken over as head designer for women's it feels so much more like the old days of my favorite brand.

I bought two sweaters for fall: This cardigan (in blue) and this v neck oversized but also cropped sweater (in cream) and the fit and fabric is on point in the best way possible!

My Recipe for School Lunches

I've been packing lunches and snacks for Amalia since she started daycare as a baby but with the move to Kindergarten, we had to take out anything and everything tree nut and peanut which has been a major shift. Her daycare class never had any allergies so this is new for us.

Luckily the "recipe" I have always used for her lunches still works with just a few easy swaps.

48 Hours in North Fork

We are back from a magical and very special weekend away in North Fork. I can't believe that I've never been to this gem of a Gatsby-region and it's just across the Long Island Sound from us.

100% we will be going back and definitely want to bring our kids too. Although it was a great grown-ups only trip and I would recommend it for an anniversary or couples-getaway.
