My favorite holiday of the entire year is around the corner and I can't wait to share some family traditions with both kids. My aunt had to cancel her annual 4th of July party for two years in a row due to the pandemic and last year we had just had Luca so we skipped it, so this will be our first time back with both kids!
Today Amalia is "graduating" from pre-school, and while I hate that she's growing up so quickly I'm so proud of the little lady she is becoming. She's been so excited for the graduation "ceremony" all week and her energy is rubbing off on all of us.
That is, until the news hit this morning that Roe v Wade was officially overturned.
I love summer. My birthday is in July and I'm a true summer baby. Always have been and always will be. Cancer szn 4eva! I love being hot and I weirdly love humidity. I love the beach. I love grilling every night and juicy watermelon and my kids covered in ice cream. I love fire pits and rosé.
I think I could eat tacos every day and never get sick of them. There are just so many options and they are always so satisfying. The latest in my personal taco rotation are these buffalo chicken ones that pack a little punch and always deliver. My dad's wife, Jenn, made a version of these when we were visiting for Memorial Day and I couldn't stop thinking about them.
