Pumpkin Smoothie

I never know what to do with the extra pumpkin puree that I have lying around after recipes like this pumpkin bread. I was making my smoothie the other day and perusing my refrigerator when a light bulb went off. Why of course, pumpkin smoothies!

This smoothie is so deliciously sweet and seasonal plus you get tons of Omega-3s in the flax seeds and almond butter. A genius fall invention for sure. It’s creamy, delicious, and perfectly pumpkin-y.

Ingredients:
-3/4 cup almond milk (or oat milk or whatever milk you prefer)
-1/4 cup organic canned pureed pumpkin
-1/4 tspn ground cinnamon
-1/8 tspn nutmeg
-1/4 tspn pure vanilla extract
-1 tblspn almond butter
-1 tblspn ground flax seeds (optional for extra Omega-3s)
-1 tblspn maple syrup
-4 ice cubes

Directions:
-Blend
-Enjoy!
