I can’t decide if I’m the kind of person who loves to hate the upcoming “Hallmark Holiday” or secretly loves getting flowers at work from my husband and Godiva Chocolates from my dad. No matter how you feel, Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love and I firmly believe that we should all practice some serious self-love in whatever form makes you feel powerful, beautiful, and special.
That might mean getting a massage, spending a day in bed with a good book, or treating yourself to a beautiful little luxury- something that you wouldn’t normally spend the money on. For me, that means an overpriced but incredibly delicious smelling candle (Despite the crazy over-promotion of Diptyque candles by bloggers, they really are the best!), lovely lingerie that makes me feel sexy, monogrammed champagne glasses (because when else would you buy them?), or a bath oil that feels and smells like heaven.
On Saturday, I also plan to work out, treat my body to a healthy green juice, and of course, spend some quality time with the love of my life.
How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
Loving all of the pink, especially these heels!
P.S. I have an awesome cash giveaway up on W&R, hope you’ll check it out!

Love your picks and the color scheme! I completely agree with taking time to pamper yourself! And who doesn’t love a good Diptyque candle?!?! Great Post!

I completely agree Valentines day is about self-love as much as showing your significant lover that you love them too. I’m planning a day at the salon!

Love your list! Mine went live today. I think this is my favorite holiday to put up a guide for! http://ow.ly/Irzkp
I really like the pink pumps and sweater. Since restaurants are super busy on Valentine’s Day, I always cook my hubby a meal of his choosing as part of his present.
