A Luxe Staycation

This year for my birthday I decided not to throw my annual party, but instead to do something low key and special with Anel. We’ve been going so hard this summer that a relaxing day for just us sounded like a dream. And it was.

I wanted a relaxing and luxurious birthday and I got all that and more thanks to the Delamar Hotel in Greenwich who generously gifted me one of their Luxe Packages. If you live locally or within driving distance, I can’t recommend this more!

We opted for the DelaLuxe package which included:

Roundtrip transportation in a classic car to and from our house (car options include a 1937 Packard 12 Limousine Berline, 1941 Cadillac Series 60 Special Fleetwood, 1951 Bentley Mark II Countryman Radford, Bentley Continental Flying Spur, Rolls Royce Phantom 7 Drophead Coupe, and more). They can pick up in NYC, too! Obviously this was Anel’s favorite part of the whole trip since he’s a huge classic car fan. And I have to admit it was pretty cool to be cruising down the highway in a Rolls Royce convertible!

A private one hour boat trip with a captain in one of their rare, custom yachts accompanied with light bites and champagne. This was my favorite part. I love being out on the water and they made it extra special with incredible snacks and a mocktail for me.

Overnight accommodations at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor hotel. It was the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while 🙂

60-minute spa treatment– I went with one of their Biologique Recherche facials which was obviously next level. The Delamar spa is one of the best around so this was a real treat.

Dinner at L’escale. I always feel so fancy when we get to go here.

We unfortunately had to miss the one-hour morning cruise the next morning on the yacht because I had to get the kids off to camp, but it would have been lovely.

I also learned that you don’t have to be a hotel guest to book the yacht experiences. If you’re local and want to do a luxe boat day or evening with friends, you can book it directly via the Delamar.
