During the whole process of planning our wedding, there were many times when I lost sight of what was important. I lost sight of the fact that the marriage is what matters, not the wedding. Once in a while, I’d see a beautiful detail like bright sunlight peeking through a sheer curtain or a flower display in a window and I’d pause, take a breath, and recenter myself. In general, it’s a good reminder to do this daily!
It’s so true– wedding planning can really consume your life and it’s sometimes hard to balance everything. The good news is that life gets a LOT quieter after the wedding– speaking from experience!
