I commenced this weekend on Friday night by wedding dress shopping at Pronovias. I can’t share any details about that but I will say that I felt (and hopefully looked) like a princess! On Saturday, I hosted a small Christmas brunch for some old friends. I baked them cinnamon eggnog scones, mulled some hot cider, and sat around my sweet little Christmas tree. Anel and I had a perfect date night at Gennaro’s on the Upper West Side and re-watched Bridesmaids, one of our favorite flicks.
I spent Sunday organizing my recipes and making a grocery list for Christmas dinner. It’s going to include maple glazed turkey, chestnut and apple stuffing, butternut squash puree, pecan pie, peppermint bark, and more! Do you think I can cook all that in one day?
With all of that going on, we still managed to spend a few quality hours with my baby brother, Jackson. I can’t wait to spend his first Christmas together!
