Date nights look a little different lately. Everything out here is more casual, even the fancier restaurants. Everyone on “The Ave” in Greenwich is always dressed to the nines but everywhere else has been pretty chill in our experience so far.
The weirdest difference is that one of us always has to drive home. We never thought that we drank very much but even 2 glasses of wine makes me tipsy so if I’m driving home after dinner, I have to stick to one! I haven’t had to think about that for the longest time. It’s ok, I’d rather skip the 2nd drink than ever take the subway again #worthit.
I wore this outfit out to dinner last weekend and didn’t feel underdressed at all. It was pretty awesome. I’m going to be living in this Vineyard Vines flannel gingham shirt this winter. Def going to need it in navy. . . and pink. . . ok I need them all!
Perfect fall outfit!

Love this casual but chic look! Gingham is my favorite. And yes, it sounds like not having to take the subway totally outweighs driving.
