Crop tops are not a thing that I would say I’m comfortable wearing. I mean I’m pushing 30 over here, is it still appropriate to have any part of my midriff showing outside of the beach? Probably not. The only way that I’ll actually wear one is with a super high waisted skirt or pants so that only a sliver of my stomach peeks out. Enter the palazzo pant which does that job quite nicely.

Full disclosure here, as part of my year-long Target campaign, we were asked to pair a drapey pant with a crop top from Target’s selection. I was nervous about this because it’s not really my style. I begrudgingly picked my favorite versions of these silhouettes and was surprised at how much I loved them once I put them on. It’s definitely a different look for me but I’m totally into it!

I love these palazzo pants and tried to wear them other ways but the crop top was the only piece I could pair with them without looking like I was a hippy Grandmother. Any other ideas?
