This weekend we had friends from the city in town, and wanted to show them a good ole’ Connecticut time by taking them somewhere different than the plethora of trendy brunch spots in their Brooklyn neighborhood. We ended up at Terrain yet again, where we had brunch outside among the beautiful gardens. (See my last post shot at this gorgeous location here).
After a night of one too many glasses of rosé while we barbecued, I was ready to fill my body with wholesome yet hearty food. I wore this flowy top knowing that my favorite baked bread in the whole state would be on our plates. My top and jeans are both from AYR, the sister company to Bonobos. They make incredible basics but the absolute best part is that you can choose your waste AND length size in their jeans. I have crazy short legs and always have to hem pants so when I discovered this, I was pretty stoked.
I’m wearing their classic ‘The Skinny’ Skinny jeans and loved them so much that I picked up this distressed pair as well. I’m wearing their ‘The Wedge” shirt in biscuit but have their light chambray ‘The Clean Shirt‘ on my list up next. My sister bought it and I’m convinced that it’s the best summer chambray- lightweight and flattering.
It was a little breezy so I topped it off with this cute blue and white scarf that I love paired with my orange bag. Orange is definitely the new black though!
