On Julia: Fisherman sweater, plaid scarf, equestrian leggings, Tory Burch boots
On Anel: Navy sweater, plaid shirt, canvas jeans
One of my absolute favorite types of blog posts is when I get to feature my husband, Anel. Because of him, this blog is possible. Every weekend he patiently (ok not always so patiently) figures out the perfect location to take photos, deals with me blogging on weeknights during the few precious hours we have together each day, and generally supports my dreams and visions.
Although it might look effortless, it is far from that I promise! When Tuckernuck asked us to do a shoot, I was so excited to stock us both up with products from my favorite online preppy boutique. Although last weekend was absolutely nuts with our big move, we took a few minutes to take a break in our new backyard (it needs some serious work, don’t judge the mess please!) for these photos.
This fisherman sweater got me through the weekend. It was easy to throw on every time I had to run an errand. And although you probably can’t tell from the photo, this pair of equestrian leggings is epic. There is no other word to describe their greatness. First of all they’re twill and suede so they feel thicker and more sturdy than normal leggings, making them look more like pants in person. Secondly, they suck you in… in a good way. Great for the holiday season, no?
