Every year around this time, Anel and I drive up to my dad’s house in New Hampshire for a weekend of fall fun… unfortunately we chose a pretty rainy couple of days this year! We got a few hours on Satuday where the rain held up, so we carried on our usual tradition of visiting Cedar Circle Farm for some pumpkin picking and maple-latté drinking. You can check out this post from there two years ago and this one from last year.
I was excited to finally use my new leather-handled LL Bean Tote (that I discovered from Carly a few weeks back) and this classic fisherman sweater for our little fall adventure. I was pretty bummed that I forgot my new Bean Boots, but I’m sure they’ll get plenty of use in the coming weeks. I have approximately 8,000 Boat & Totes, but I love the new elevated twist of leather handles. I have a feeling this will replace my day tote for a while. It’s so sturdy, so cute, and so classic!
It was kind of nice to have a rainy weekend, because it forced us to do more relaxing than usual. On Friday night, my dad made cocktails with organic pumpkin-spiced vodka (I threw my sober ‘tober idea out the window because they were so good) and we watched Bad Moms after Jackson went to sleep. It was hilarious and I highly recommend it, btw! Speaking of Jackson, I love his sweet little cameo below. I can’t get over how tall he is. He’s almost six for reference, and he’s up to my chest already. The kid is going to be 7 feet.
Coming home yesterday was a little stressful because we had to drive home, finish up and shoot our laundry room for a post later this week, and get set up for an all-day video shoot today (more on that soon). Tomorrow I’m heading to Montauk for a press trip/wellness retreat with some of my favorite blogger buds… Needless to say, I’m feeling a bit crazed, but realizing that it’s my fault for over-booking.
Earlier in the summer, I vowed to travel less but now I feel like I’m on the move weekly again. I don’t know how it happened!
I hope you all have a great week! Be sure to follow video-shooting, Hamptons-traveling week on Snapchat and Instagram.

I use my leather handled boat and tote weekly! Its great as I find the handles much easier on your hands. Hope you love it as much as I do! xx Rox-Anne, Celebratingthislife.ca
Literally my favorite bag ever. So happy you found it too!
Oh my goodness those leaves and trees – I am so jealous! I am so looking forward to my trip out of the city in a few weeks up to Pennsylvania so I can get some real fall views. I have been loving the leather handles ever since I saw it with Carly a few weeks ago too! Such a cute outfit!
