ASOS blanket scarf, Sun & Shadow sweater, AG jeans, Kate Spade bag
This pretty path, around the corner from us, is incredibly vibrant. Even though New England’s foliage has already “peaked” (that’s a real thing), these trees are blazing redder than ever. Anel and I went to walk under them and take some photos before dinner at Baldanza, a farm to table restaurant in New Canaan that boasts grass-fed beef and free range chicken. I wrapped up in this blanket scarf (I finally got a new one) and the coziest turtleneck sweater.
We’re in the midst of a crazy gigantic project that I can’t wait to tell you about later this week! We’re both mentally exhausted, but even though there was much work to be done, took the time out for dinner alone without our phones or any distractions. I know I always harp on this point but taking time for each other, in my opinion, one of the most important things you can do for your marriage. I’m lucky that he agrees!
While writing this post, I realized that there is so much going on that I never even mention here on the blog. It used to be more like a life diary (for you long term fans, remember Weekend in Photos?) but as blogging has evolved and grown, it has evolved and grown with the trends into more of a place that’s full of beautiful photos but not so much personal life stories. Instagram took it’s place but that, too, is now more of a place curated beautiful images that don’t always tell the real story. Snapchat is becoming my new favorite social media platform as it feels a little more real and a little less staged. Follow me @lemonstripes to see what I mean!

The fall foliage is gorgeous in these photos! The perfect backdrop to this outfit. What’s better than a cozy sweeter and blanket scarf?
