Last Maternity Outfit Post

Getting dressed these days is hard enough (bending down to put on pants or shorts is no joke with this belly!) but getting dressed and actually looking cute is feeling virtually impossible. So I’m excited to say that this will be my last official outfit post until post-baby. I hit the nine-month mark this week (36 weeks) so I think it’s a good time to wind down for a bit. Not to worry, I have plenty of fun content coming your way, but the days of me trying to pose for photos are on hold for a few weeks.

I wanted to end my maternity looks on a high note, with one of my favorite dresses this trimester. I actually forgot that I had it, and found it in the back of my closet a few weeks ago. It’s loose and comfy but also looks cute, making it my go-to on hot days lately. It is supposed to be worn off-shoulder but strapless bras are a thing of the past these days so I wear it like this and actually like it even better!

It also comes in three other colors: Solid pink, navy, and white. If you like the pattern, but want something a little more form-fitting, they also have it in this tank dress.

I wore it on a coffee date last week with this straw tote that I love because it’s cute and summery but also light, something that’s important these days. My photographer, Courtney, wore it to my house one day and I knew I had to have it immediately!

Although the heat is tough when you’re at the end of pregnancy, I’m grateful for it in a way because throwing on loose dresses is so much easier than anything else. A few other easy maternity dresses I’m loving lately are this short sleeved tie front dress that could be dressed up or down, this amazing maternity/nursing shirt dress that just looks so comfy, and this kimono sleeved maxi.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my maternity style over the last few months. If you’re new around here or want some inspiration, check out my Maternity Clothes 101 post with everything you need to know and all of my favorite brands.

So cute, Julia! I am in the same boat with getting dressed these days (the easiest maternity clothes I have are the only option!), and I’m thinking this could be a cute coming-home-from-the-hospital dress for a photo of us as a family!

Great idea! It will definitely still fit post baby and looks like something Kate Middleton would wear for going home… kind of 🙂

You look really great! I’m 35 weeks right now so I definitely feel you on all of the complaints you mentioned…especially bending over AND the strapless bra issue – which is sad because of all the cute off the shoulder things! What is your actual due date? I am due July 26th and can’t believe how fast it’s coming. Luckily, the warm weather means I’m living in dresses which I much prefer to tight jeans. Good luck with everything! 🙂

Oh wow! Time has gone by so fast!! It feels like yesterday that I read your post about being pregnant… I know it only feels like time flies for others and not for mommy and daddy to be: for you guys it’s like ‘let’s welcome our little baby asap’!! You look amazing. Enjoy your big beautiful belly while you can, trust me you’ll miss it the first few months when your little one is born 🙂 All the best to you these last few weeks. xoxo
