Plaid Pocket

I shared this plaid pocket oxford in a flat lay over on Instagram last week and people went nuts for it. I actually had three friends send me the link before I even bought it, saying that it reminded them of me. So basically it’s my dream shirt. I could have styled it a million different ways but just wanted to show you how I’ve actually been wearing it: With jeans,ย flats,ย and my usual leopard clutch. Shocker, right? Just trying to showcase real life over here!

As far as sizing goes, it runs TTS. I got a small but it’s still a little tight for now. I’m guessing that when I’m done nursing it will fit perfectly. I like the idea of it being a little oversized though, so size up if that’s the look you’re going for.

Anyway, not much else to say about this outfit except that I bought a new pair of jeans from Tuckernuck in my pre-baby size and they fit! My hips are still a little bigger than usual and the boob situation isn’t going anywhere for a while, but I’m feeling more like myself and it’s awesome. I’m on week two of BBG (Has anyone else tried the Sweat app yet? It’s so hard!) and I feel like it’s making a difference already if that’s possible.

On another note, if you missed Amalia in her Halloween costume, you have to take a look. She was so cute yesterday and such a good sport while we took a million photos and videos of her!

I can never get enough of your style, especially in the fall. You are amazing at pattern mixing. And also, your hair is so good right now. I’ve always loved it, but something is different about it lately and I love it!

I love the way you used the leopard! I tend to shy away from it but you still made it look preppy! Happy November, xxAllie http://www.theallthatglittersblog.com

I know you shared a bit about this in your pregnancy posts, but any additional morning sickness tips? Like you, I had trouble getting pregnant and I’m only 8 weeks, so still nervous about miscarriage and I’m thrilled to be pregnant, but I am SO nauseas. Last week I threw up all over myself in the car on the way to the doctor (learned my lesson and now keeping plastic bags in the car, which came in handy when I got sick yesterday on the way to work). Last night I also got sick at 8pm and 12:30am – had to call in sick to work today. I really do not want to reveal our pregnancy until we hit 12 weeks, but it’s hard when you work in an office all day and feel so sick!

I’m 10 weeks post partum and was queasy first trimester and helped it by eating a lot of foods rich in Vitamin B6. Apparently doctors’ offices will give B6 shots for bad nausea since it’s supposed to help. Good luck!

Agreed with Julia here! However I tried everything and threw up a lot throughout my pregnancy. The things that helped the most were ginger ale (full of sugar but you gotta do what you gotta do) and crackers. Next time I get pregnant, I’ll probably end up taking Zofran. I was too scared the first time around but now I know that you also have to live your life and if you can’t do that because you’re throwing up, that’s not good! Here’s an article I found on it if it makes you nervous: https://www.thebump.com/a/is-zofran-safe-for-pregnant-women-new-study-says

Love the combination of patterns in this one. The subdued banker pinstripe worked so well with the help striking leopard. You’re so good with patterns!

I love this striped top! I had a similar one just rip so this is a perfect replacement! Where is your jacket from? I’m looking for a warm wool coat for some winter travels but don’t know where to start! Just for reference, we don’t need heavy coats in Tx! ๐Ÿ™‚
