When I was in middle school, my sister and I lived for the quizzes in YM and Seventeen magazines (I might be dating myself here). We used to hole up in my bedroom and circle As, Bs, and Cs to learn what kind of friend we were, what type of boy was right for our personalities, and so many more that I can’t even remember.
When Eva and I were at Ocean House last week for a little girls trip, we were hanging out in our tartan PJs after a few drinks and were reminiscing about these quizzes from our past. We had the cutest idea to come up with a quiz like the ones from our childhoods for a little nostalgia and a little innocent holiday fun that doesn’t leave you with a hangover.

Before I get into that, however, I have to tell you a little bit about the trip because it was so amazing. We were invited to the property to get a sneak peak of Veuve Clicquot’s new Fondue Express, which is a gondola they turned into a mini, super romantic restaurant that you can reserve to eat fondue and drink champagne. I mean, how cool right?
Ocean House is one of the most majestic hotels I’ve ever personally visited. The photos don’t do it justice! It’s huge, on the water with stunning views, and full of old-school glamour. Last minute I decided to book myself a massage and let me tell you, the spa is incredible too. I literally started crying after my massage because I hadn’t felt that relaxed in a year!
It was so fun to take a girls trip, especially with someone else in the middle of her busy season who understood the work/play balance. We took time to get our work done, then shut down our computers and had a ton of fun. I came home a different person.
