This Week in Outfits

Good morning from New York City! I was here last night to kick off a big partnership and the brand put me up in a hotel which was such a treat. I slept in and am having a gloriously lazy morning. I had a really great and productive week and finally feel like I’m back in my usual groove after the move.

Monday’s outfit: J.Crew Camo Sweater (gifted, Factory version for $26 here) / Leopard Sweater Blazer / J.Crew Jeans / Jenni Kanye Mules (Similar here) / Karen Walker Sunnies

Monday in a nutshell: Monday was a really fun day. Julia Dags and I did a fun photo shoot for this blog post on a beautiful fall day. After a working lunch, we headed to a photo shoot for my marketing client, a local spa. I spent the afternoon working from home before picking up Amalia. Dags took my daily outfit pic since we were together that day which is why this one looks nicer than usual.

Tuesday’s outfit: Everlane Sweater / Old J.McLaughlin Vest / Lululemon Leggings / Headband / Similar BootsKaren Walker Sunnies

Tuesday in a nutshell: I spent most of the day working from home. I had a quick meet and greet with Amalia’s new pediatrician (who I loved!), a call with my marketing client, and then headed to Eva’s house to drop off some stuff that I had borrowed. I took this picture in her entryway mirror. She has such great light! That night I ran into my friend at daycare pick up and we decided to have an impromptu pizza party at the beach with our kids since both of our husbands were working late. It was so much fun! (Pictured below)

Wednesday’s outfit: I ended up wearing the same thing that I wore to our beach date and forgot to get a picture but since I didn’t have any in-person meetings I was lazy and wore leggings, sneakers, a hat, and a sweatshirt all day.

Dudley Stephens Turtleneck (gifted) / Smathers and Branson Hat / Allbirds Sneakers (not pictured) / Amalia’s Dudley Stephens Fleece (gifted)

Wednesday in a nutshell: On Wednesday I woke up at 5 to work because I knew I had to run around for a lot of the day and couldn’t be in front of my computer. I’m writing all new copy for my client’s website which takes a long time so I spent three straight hours doing that before Amalia woke up and it felt really good. After drop off and walking Bootsies, I headed to Greenwich for a workout with one of Anel’s trainers and to pop by the Dudley Stephens townhouse for an event they were having with Shop Buru. That night I had dinner with a girlfriend but didn’t get a picture of my outfit.

Thursday’s outfit: Gal Meets Glam Dress (gifted) / Similar Booties (Mine are old M.Gemi) / ASHA Necklace

Thursday in a nutshell: We woke up and a giant tree had fallen across our driveway so we were stuck in the house until the tree guys were able to cut it up and move it. Amalia thought it was a fun adventure but I was really shaken up. We have a lot of very tall trees on our property and my mind went to one of them falling on the house or one of us. We have an arborist coming to assess all of our trees next week which will hopefully put my mind at ease. Once we got out of the house, I splurged on a quick blow out then got picked up to go into the city for an event with Gymboree. They put me up for a night in a hotel so I enjoyed a kid-free night and went out with my sister and cousin. It was so much fun!

Friday’s outfit: Garnet Hill Sweater (gifted) / Lululemon Leggings / Allbirds Sneakers / Old J.Crew Denim Jacket (Similar here)

Friday in a nutshell: I’m here in the city until 1:30. I slept in and spent all morning working in bed (writing this post) which was glorious. Now I’m off to meet a friend for lunch before I head home. Had to hide my slightly hungover face in this morning’s photo 🙂
