Happy Monday! Here we are in the midst of Fashion Week, and unfortunately, I could kind of care less. This season I’ve pared down quite a lot, attending one blogger dinner, a party to celebrate Trina Turk, and the Tibi runway show (read more about my thoughts on fashion week).
Even with my minimal attendance, this season has yet again confirmed that it’s just not my scene. I’d much rather spend time with good friends and my husband, have a great meal, work out, or just relax. So that is what I spent most of my weekend doing.
On to the outfit. Two things I never thought I’d wear again: Graphic tees and crop tops. Now here I am wearing both rolled into one. When Bobo House wanted to collaborate on this post, I knew that their Un Weekend a New York shirt was the perfect fit as I’m always trying to find weekend pieces that are comfortable and chic. This shirt is definitely both. I’m sure I’ll be wearing it all summer tucked into denim shorts with flip flops. Please summer, could you hurry?
It’s actually a regular slim fit tee, but I was inspired by Kat’s post last week to try out the crop top trend in my old age. Per last week’s post, I’ve been working out more and focusing on taking care of my body so I actually didn’t even feel uncomfortable baring my midriff. That’s a first!
