Last year when we were taking these photos for our holiday cards, we told Amalia that there was a baby in my tummy. We thought her reaction on camera would be priceless, but she was… unimpressed until a few days went by. A year later and she is madly in love with that baby previously in my tummy, and you can see her love in these gorgeous photos that Julia Dags took a few weeks ago for our holiday cards.
As usual, we ordered our cards from Minted and had them pre-addressed for quick and easy mailing. I went with a card called Classic Christmas Plaid and added gold foil lettering for a classic and festive feel. Minted has the best selection with hundreds of card options. I debated between the one I chose and Cheerful Grid. My process is to take the photo first then pick my card based on that. When I’ve done it the other way, it feels like too much pressure to get the exact photo I want so this works for me.

I had a hard time picking a photo for the card because there were so many cute ones but the one we went with showed their beautiful eyes and smiles the best. Gosh seeing these pictures of my little boogers makes me so proud to be their mom, you guys! This is 100% our best card yet.
Minted works with over 16,000 independent artists all with really unique designs. Every Minted Holiday Card order directly supports these artists.
