Happy Friday! This week felt a little disjointed, like I was being pulled in 17 directions at once each day. I have my hands in so many different projects right now that it’s been hard to keep them all straight. I spent part of the week working with a friend who helped me project manage the cookbook to get Lemon Stripes stuff in order and once that is complete, I’ll feel a whole lot better.
Anel and I started watching Live to 100: The Secrets of Blue Zones on Netflix and while I’ve read about this topic before, the show goes into way more detail. It’s fascinating to see how specific micro-cultures live in a healthier way and shocking to see people over 100 splitting wood, riding horses, gardening, and living as if they’re in their 60s or 70s. I highly recommend it if you have the chance to watch.
I’m excited for the weekend because Anel is taking Amalia camping which means I get two full, uninterrupted days with Luca, something that he’s never had in his entire little life. We have some fun adventures planned!
Have a great weekend!
