Life Lately: Volume 81

This week felt too good to be true, work-wise. I started focusing on a new consulting project that is making me feel all sorts of creative again (so needed!), I made and shot a bunch of recipes and simple suppers for the blog, and so much more. I also had a call about a dream partnership that will be launching in April, yay!

I was hyper-productive on a bunch of different projects all 5 days which is rare for me. I usually need to take breaks in my day to recharge but I was fired up about everything and may have overdone it a touch. My right eyelid has been twitching for days 🙂

It’s funny how anxiety works for me. Sad? Here I am! Happy? Hmmm, you seem too happy, let me just throw a wrench in that. It’s almost as if I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop because things are going so well and that triggers it. Yes, I realize I need to talk to my therapist about this, stat.

Anel and I are going on a much-needed date night tonight and have some friends visiting for a low-key weekend. See you back here next week!

Sadly I don’t have a link for my dress because it’s sold out, sorry! But here is Boots’s dog bed.

Catch up on the Vanderpump Rules cheating scandal (#Scandoval) that has taken over all of our feeds this week. My favorite meme I’ve seen so far on the topic described the situation for non-viewers as if Chandler cheated on Monica with Rachel for 6 months… and Joey knew! So spot on.

In anticipation of the next (and last) season of Succession, Town & Country’s interview with Brian Cox is everything I wanted it to be and more. Also if you don’t follow Succession’s IG account, go check it out for their daily roastings of each character. It is brilliant.

Ok am I into a pair of Teva’s? What is happening?
