My little Luca flew into this world in the same amount of time it takes to watch Titanic. I knew his labor would be faster than Amalia's, but I was not expecting this! I had my first contraction around 9:30 am and he was born at 1:10 pm. Because I had a pretty great experience with the actual labor part of Amalia's birth, I went into it without any fear about that.
Today is the day! Today is the day! I couldn't be more excited to share that my Chappywrap x Lemon Stripes collection is officially live. This has been over a year in the making and it feels so exciting that these blankets will be used and loved by many of you very soon.
We had no idea what the response would be so when I originally shared it and the waitlist was much higher than anticipated, we made an order for another run that will come out in a few weeks.
Luca is here! Our sweet baby boy arrived on April 17th after 3 quick hours of labor. He is an absolute dream and my heart has expanded in ways I didn't think possible over the last few days. I will share more about his labor, Amalia's first time meeting him, and our first weeks at home when we all get settled and a few hours of sleep, but in the meantime, here is the story of his name!
I never thought I'd want a baby sprinkle (apparently, what they call a shower for a second kid) for baby number two but when my friends and sister offered to throw me one I was all about it. We haven't had many in-person celebrations lately and we all figured April would be warm enough to sit outside.
