Every year around this time, we head up to my dad's house in New Hampshire for his annual tree-trimming party. He's been having this party for over 30 years, where friends and family travel from around New England to cook and eat good food, cut down a tree, and decorate the house for the holidays.

I've dreamt of having a home office for years. Now that I have a house, my dream is finally becoming a reality. I've been gathering inspiration on my Office Love Pinterest board for quite some time now so when my designer, Shelby, asked me to send her inspiration for the design of the space, it took me about 0.2 seconds!

I don't wear a lot of dresses, especially in the winter. But when I found this stretchy, navy lace dress at Nordstrom, I had to have it for the holiday party season. It is incredibly flattering and comfortable and gives a holiday vibe despite it's neutral color (let's be real, navy is the new black).

The sales are still going strong for Cyber Monday today (shop all of my sale picks here) but I'm so sick of reading/talking about them that I decided to forgo another sale post today. We had a wonderful weekend in the Bay Area and I did a total of zero holiday shopping and almost no work which was so refreshing slash terrifying.
