On a whim, I tried on these high waisted jeans and fell in love immediately. They're high waisted without being too high, and the button detail gives them a fresh edge without being edgy.
Happy Friday, friends! I haven't done a "Life Lately" post in a while so I thought it was high time to get that back on track after the summer. Weekly felt like too often so I'm moving this to a monthly series for now and adding a fun little Q&A component down at the bottom. I had people ask questions on Instagram stories yesterday and I answered five of them below.
I, along with most of my friends, got married a long time ago, before Instagram and Pinterest were so influential on wedding related events. In a way I'm grateful for that because there was less pressure on making everything Instagram-worthy, but I also love seeing how people step up their game on everything from rehearsal dinners to bridal showers to bachelorette parties.

This is my story and I hope that sharing it makes other moms going through something similar feel less alone and more empowered to do something about it.
