If I know anything in this big world of ours, it's how to take an Instagram photo. I know that's silly and seemingly shallow but I love Instagram because it feels like an escape during the day. Although I hate the culture it creates of having to constantly live a beautiful and perfect life (more on that in my post about my struggles with blogging and Instagram here), I love seeing how creative people can get in a tiny square frame.

I've been seeing some of my favorite bloggers (uhhh including myself 2 days ago!) posting fall looks lately which is making me horribly depressed but at the same time way too excited.
I've never been very good at saving money. I have annoyingly expensive taste and trouble putting my hard earned money away. Even worse, my husband has the same problem! We're a match made in asset managers' hell. The good news is that we both want to save more and even though it doesn't come naturally, we have found ways to make it work.

This weekend was a beautiful summer weekend in Connecticut, one of those times that I'm so happy that we moved out to the 'burbs. It was sunny and hot but not too hot, humidity was low, and we had the perfect mix of down time and plans with friends.
