What a year this has been. While it has been filled with fears and uncertainties, it has also brought so much hope and literal new life. This year has forced me to really look at what's important in my own life and my priorities have shifted in a way that I wasn't expecting.
In a weird way, this year has been really good for our family.
We're halfway through the last month of 2020 and I am ready for this year to be over. With Christmas in 11 days and two weeks off of work for both myself and Anel, we are looking forward to the second half of the month to chill out and hang out as a family. I've been working nonstop this month to wrap up my marketing projects and sponsored posts and am really looking forward to a little break.
Maybe it's the prego in me talking but I'm pretty sure I've never put anything in my mouth that tastes quite as good as these peppermint oreo balls. That's what she said... Annnnddd I need to get out of my house, clearly.
Back to the #balls though. These make a super easy Christmas treat that you can make with (or without) your kids.
I read a lot of great books this year... as well as some not-so-great ones. Reading is one of my favorite escapes from reality and if I don't read for 30 minutes before bed every night, I see a huge difference in my sleep so it's something I prioritize daily.
