What Studies Should We Trust?

Whether you get your news from the New York Times or Fox, Reddit or Instagram, I think we can all agree at this point that you have to take everything you read with a grain of salt. There are biases everywhere we turn and it can be hard to distinguish between facts and agendas.

One way to be a more informed information-seeker is to understand what constitutes a legitimate study.

The Coziest Sweater Edit

This fall and winter, I'm guessing that most of us will be living in oversized, cozy sweaters, conducive to hardcore lounging. The one pictured above is one of the comfiest, coziest sweaters I own and I get a million questions about where it's from whenever I share it. Sadly, it's old from Mango but this cardigan is similar as is this one.

Our 2020 Halloween Plans

Halloween is hitting a little different this year. I didn't think Amalia would remember much from last Halloween but she somehow can recall every single detail... including the house with a pet pig that came to the door. Although who could forget that?

She has been talking non-stop about her fairy princess costume and trick-or-treating and while I want it to be fun for her, I also want to keep things safe.

The Best Vegetarian Ramen Ever

Is there anything better than a steaming bowl of ramen on a cold night? Definitely not. My family is ramen-obsessed, including Amalia who calls it "soup candy" to this day because that is how I got her to try it the first time I brought her to Mecha Noodle Bar, our favorite local ramen place.
