Ciao from Italia! We arrived in Sicily on Saturday afternoon and have packed in so many amazing experiences and meals that it was really hard to pick which post would come first. On Sunday night, we drove out to the breathtaking Baglio Donna Franca hotel and vineyards for a tour of the winery, a delicious meal, and an unforgettable night.

When my family and I were planning my 30th birthday trip to Sicily last Christmas, it felt like it was so far off into the future. It snuck up on us and although I have a really hard time with letting go of work and my responsibilities at home, I'm going to try and do exactly that for the next 10 days.

There is something about stark white paired with bright turquoise that makes me just so happy. Maybe it's because the combo reminds me of the Greek Islands or simply because it evokes the feeling of summer. Either way, the little white dress can be dangerous (stay away from red wine!) but so worth the risk.
It's both shocking and amazing that such an insanely beautiful tropical paradise is only a 90 minute flight from New York City. Bermuda is close enough that you can easily take a Summer Friday off of work and jet down to the island, but far enough that it feels like you're in a totally different world.
