Crock Pot Turkey Chili

When Meg invited me to answer the following question in a blogger round-up today for The Well, it was a no brainer.

The question:
What did you purchase in the past year that became invaluable to you?

My answer:
My slow cooker, hands down. How I ever lived without one for almost 30 years, I'll never know.

An Organized Closet

Moving to the suburbs has had many pros and cons. One of many welcome changes was getting more closet space. Somehow I got my husband to agree to letting me have the walk-in closet to myself (Another post on the power of persuasion might be in order!).

I have a lot of clothing, shoes, and accessories, so it's important to stay organized.

How to Fall in Love with Anyone

A few days ago, my friend Hallie emailed around an article from the New York Times called "How to fall in love with anyone". Um obviously that sounded pretty exciting.

She summed up the article perfectly on her blog: "It explores the idea of mutual vulnerability and how that fosters feelings of closeness. Or more specifically, whether intimacy between a set of strangers can be created and accelerated by having them ask each other a series of personal questions — 36 of them, to be exact."

I've obviously already fallen in love but the idea of going through this process with my husband intrigued me.
