Over the summer my sister got lash extensions for the first time. Every time I saw her I thought she had had her make up professionally done. She's already beautiful but she looked truly stunning at all times. She told me that getting the lashes gave her one of the biggest confidence boosts of her adult life.
Happy Monday! I'm back (a few hours late) after a really fun fall weekend with friends and my family. We had our first real party in the new house and it was a dream to finally be able to entertain in a home that was built for it. I teared up multiple times that night and just felt so happy that we have created such a wonderful community of friends here.
This week, #falljulia came out to play. She has dark nails, wears lots of brown and neutrals, and I have no idea where she came from... But I'm into it! My/#falljulia's week was productive and busy and I'm going into the weekend with almost nothing on my to-do list which hasn't happened since before we decided to move.
I've been afraid of the dark since I was a little kid. I couldn't tell you the day my fear started but it has been a life-altering fear that has affected my sleep and even my marriage in a big way. Until a few months (yep, months) ago, I couldn't sleep alone in a room even if all the lights were on because I knew it was dark outside.
