I have been working on this blog post for about 4 months now. I didn't want to publish this post without testing out the brands I recommended, but I'm hoping it was worth the wait!
When I made a commitment to learning more about sustainability and making some changes in my home, one of the first things that came up was kids' clothes.
It was a tough week for me emotionally and mentally so I posted on here less than usual. I'm feeling more like myself this morning and am getting excited for a fun weekend with family and friends.
The week started with major exhaustion because we came back from a wedding weekend which was super fun but we only got a few hours of sleep each night.
Color blocking was my favorite trend of all time and I have been waiting for the day that it would come back around. 2010-2012 was basically the peak of my style sense because I wore bright colors every day. I'd show up to work with pink jeans and a red silk top or out to dinner in a yellow dress with neon pink pumps and it was just the best.
I saw a news story on TV yesterday with a headline that said: Sweater weather is officially here. They showed a whole poll taken by locals about when they break out their sweaters. It was some serious journalism, that's for sure!
But it wasn't wrong. Sweater weather = soup weather in my house. I love making warm and hearty soups in my slow cooker during the winter.
